[ Orthrus spends most of his day in the library. He might not be able to read yet, but he wants to learn and he's still curious about all the knowledge here. So he tries to find something that looks like it might be interesting, something with images that might have some familiarity to him?
What ultimately gets his attention is a book about Greek mythology. He doesn't know that's what it's about (or even what a Greek is), but the illustrations still catch his eye and so he's looking through it in rapture... until he gets to one page that makes him stop.
He stares at it for a long time, a strange wistful look on his face. He stays on it, not wanting to move, and honestly could probably spend hours just looking at that page alone.
Eventually he'll try and flag down whoever is nearby. ]
