first investigation

[On Friday morning, the second Friday for the Thanatos Institute apprentices in the tower, the outside sun rises and spreads its light through the arrow slit windows in the tower’s stone walls. People rise from their beds, some earlier risers than others, and shuffle along to begin their day.

Things are quiet, even with the lowkey air of anxiety that’s lingered since Tuesday when the Alchemist made his offer and Bryn attacked Bruno with an animalistic fervor. It’s probably fine, this hanging silence in the air.

[At an immediate glance, nothing seems to be especially strange. Things seem to be in their place just like they were last night.

Except a chair has been pulled out from one of the tinkering stations where the rest are pushed in as they should be.]

she's going to go ahead and investigate that station, then! any projects or missing pieces? ]

[No, it doesn't seem like there are any projects sitting out or anything missing. But there is a robe draped over the back of the chair, made of a rich purple silk.]

[ oh boy a robe... anything unusual about it? Damage, stains, a signed murder confession in the pocket? ]

[Nope, nothing unusual. Not a speck of blood, not a run in the silk, no signs of struggle at all.

It looks like it was simply taken off and draped over the back of the chair.]

[ Well, looks like she's taking this robe to the trial!!!

Is there anything left out on the table at all or does it look untouched? Also, related, does anything else seem Unusual here? ]

[It looks pretty untouched. Whoever left this here doesn't seem very interested in actually working on anything perhaps.]
