[Well! That sure did happen!

Bruno does not organize an afterparty. He's not a party organizer in general - that was Wu. But he knows he was completely useless, if not downright actively unhelpful, during that whole thing, and he already feels guilty enough. He has to be useful somehow. Otherwise, why's he even here?

So, before everyone can leave the teleportation circle in the dining room and all go their own separate ways, Bruno mumbles something about making food and takes off for the kitchen. He'll be there for a couple of hours, whipping up some quick chicken sancocho, with Olive on rice duty. Azul can be in charge of actually grabbing people and bringing them in - god forbid Bruno do anything like that - but if anyone does happen to be there to take one, he'll make them up a bowl. Otherwise, he's just gonna leave it all warming on the stove.

There's also some arroz con leche simmering for later, if anybody wants dessert! He'll put cinnamon in it, and then add some hot chocolate to the lineup as well. He's no Julieta, of course, but at least he's made something? It's not enough, but it's...something.]

Well the subject dictates the size of the illusion and all that. I didn't think it would take this much out of me, yet here we are.

Is that uncommon for you? Regardless of whomever you choose to make illusions of.

Theoretically it would be difficult to make one of, say, a to-scale city. But I have made illusions of larger things than our armored friend and not been this drained.

The Alchemist was not very forthcoming with that information. He said I was taken either form the exact moment of my death or shortly thereafter.

[ He finds himself unsurprised the Alchemist was that charitable. ]

...So, you're thinking it's possible that your difference in power is a price to pay for you being brought back alive.

It's one theory. Though Somnus said his powers were weaker than usual as well, and he was not raised as I was. I plan on contacting the Alchemist tomorrow, see if he's willing to divulge a bit more information.

Talking with him is a headache. Though, it's not as if he doesn't deserved to be pestered for his part to play in this. Granted, he deserves far worse, but for now I'll take what I can get.

[ Felix is admittedly curious about whatever the hell was going on with that execution, even if it screams blood ritual. ]

I haven't found it too trying yet, but I believe you are a much more...straight forward person than I. [He enjoys verbal sparing and obtuse phrases. Something the Alchemist also seems to enjoy.]

It'd be easier if the man actually answered any of my challenges. Then it wouldn't be a problem.

[ Felix is definitely having a tough time due to being overtly straight forward...though in the end does that make him give up? Nope. He's too stubborn for that. ]

As it is, he seems to enjoy messing around far too much for my liking.

What, you think he'll just come down here and dual you like some kind of chivalrous knight? [Loki lets out a laugh.] What about his demeanor thus far made you think that would be a fruitful endeavor?

I'd hardly think he'd do it for the sake of chivalry.

The pig has a large ego. Most people like him do like to prove they're all that.

But clearly he's not one of those people. He's a depraved coward, among other things. Though in the end, everyone has their pride. You tear it apart and they'll do what they can to reassemble it.

[Loki gives a hum of vague agreement. He's not so sure he completely agrees with Felix, but he wants to interact with the Alchemist a bit more before he can say for sure.]

Well if he ever does take you up on that challenge, do let me know. It would be very interesting to spectate.

[ Felix thinks he'll either get the Alchemist to return his challenge or he'll force him to. Even if things don't...necessarily work like that. ]

Do us a favor and try not to cause too much collateral damage though, hm? Being trapped here is hard enough without structural issues.
