It’s entirely possible that the ruthless murder last week was a fluke. A one-off incident that, with the perpetrator dead and dissolved into purple smoke, leaves the surviving apprentices free to try and live out the next 28 days without further bloodshed.

But it’s been a few days since the Alchemist’s motive and just like last week the tower feels deathly still and eerily quiet as people roll out of bed to start their day.]

[Nuadha's just going to follow that a bit. Would it be an ordinary amount of grass for someone to have tracked in from the outside on their clothes? Any sort of trail or is it generally littered around?]

[It seems like a bit much for just someone trailing it in on their clothes. It mostly seems littered around.]

[Any footprints or stains mixed in with the grass? Other mess on the floor?]

[It looks like there might be footprints but they're too shuffled to really get a good idea of the size/shape.

Other than the grass, the floor is a normal amount of messy for 18 people using one kitchen. But there's still an unusual mess on the counter.]

[What kind of mess are we talking, is it separate from the sugar?]

[More like in the middle of the sugar. There's a dark red jam stain in the middle of the spilled sugar- and looking closer at it it almost looks like the sugar is actually in the shape of a certain Bakemaster General.]

[since I see that area clear I am not asking further questions but

Nuadha will finish documenting everything with the compact and make some quick glass vials to take samples of the sugar and the jam stain and the grass, just in case.]
