[With the rules of your capture explained by a (seemingly useless and very sad) elf, the brand new apprentices of the Thanatos Institute have been left to their own devices in terms of study, co-habitation and pondering means of escape…whatever those means mean to each individual.

You're free to continue exploring your surroundings to your little hearts' content. Meals are provided 3 times a day, plates and silverware pre-laid out promptly at meal times (Don't worry, Gilear isn't cooking). If not brought to the kitchen, dirty and abandoned dishes will vanish after an hour. The only real restriction on your movements is that the kitchen is closed and the front doors lock between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am. Do try to be indoors before nightfall, dears. You never know what might be lurking in the dark.

Ambassador Gilear Faeth is unavailable for office hours, due to the fact that he doesn't have an office, but he can be found meandering around the tower from time to time. Just look for the discarded yogurt containers and you’re likely to find him.

I know what the rules Vice Principal Faeth said we had to do to escape but it didn't even occur to me whoever bought him would be so desperate to make threats like this at us. [She looks down at the photo in her hands again, pursing her lips in concern.] They're all fine. It's going to be fine.

[She looks up again, focusing her full attention on him again.]

How are you doing? Are you okay?

I'm quite fine, truly. There's no reason for me to worry over who they're ostensibly trying to threaten. No one's going to do anything, besides.

What makes you so confident about that? Everyone here has been so nice so far but- [She slips the picture into the pack at her waist without looking at it again.] How do you know someone won't get scared enough to do something?

I've never in all my years even heard of such a thing happening. It sounds beyond absurd, to be fully honest with you. I have no doubt we will all be able to cooperate to seek another way out of this ere long.

[That's...incredibly optimistic. But it's a sentiment does make her feel better, soothing her frayed nerves just enough that she smiles and bubbles up. Penny is an optimist after all.

Something like that, yes. And that's certainly not a question I've ever heard, to say the least--the name isn't familiar, unfortunately.

I thought it couldn't hurt to ask. She's a magical horse my friend's Katja's magical horse Cinnamon summoned from another dimension and since it seems like most of us are from other dimensions so it could be a possibility.
