[On Sunday morning, there is a small gift waiting for the early risers in the tower: a gold key, dangling from a length of twine tied to the wooden beam across the ceiling at the cross section of the four dorms. Upon further inspection it has a particular symbol on the back half and a note that reads "Good job. Here's your reward". The note is signed Heisenberg. The key goes to seventh floor, where there is the same symbol etched above the keyhole on the lock.

Another new floor, another pair of deaths and their numbers halved in a matter of weeks. Things can't go on like this much longer.]

[ Felix doesn't even say a single thing and calls a training sword to his hand.

He immediately starts towards her instead of beckoning Mei to come at him, swinging at her, and testing her reflexes or blocking attempts. Of course he does pull back some power in it at least because of how he went on the offensive first. ]

[She brings her sword up in a panic and stumbles back out of the way of the first swing. Quickly, though, she finds her footing and blocks the next few, keeping a grip on the sword, then jumps to the side and strikes out at him.]

[ The stumble isn't so good, but the way she manages to block the next following swings is notable. ]

Good. Keep it up.

[ Felix says that, though he doesn't make it easier for her still, swinging out quickly with his blade to actually intercept the blow...as well as testing to see how she handles that. ]

[Mei's attack glances off of Felix's response, and she follows up with trying to strike lower.]

[ At least this time his movement had not thrown her off balance. But, Felix brings up his blade to intercept the blow with a block this time, still not keen on dodging. ]

[She obliges with a few more strikes, each trying to hit someplace different. She's probably still too easy to read to pull it off, but the intent to throw him off so she can land a hit somewhere is clear.]

[ She is very much too easy to read, though this time he has to actually start moving around when he's blocking some of her strikes. A marked improvement from the last occurrence when they've faced one another in a training session.

His expression is at least showing a hint of approval. ]

[Mei's face lights up. She tries a few jabs and then jumps back out of range, wobbling a bit before going forward again. At least she didn't slip and fall, but she chides herself regardless.]
