[It's been almost a week since Orthrus' lucky escape. Almost a week, of all calls to Heisenberg going (metaphorically) to voicemail. Almost a week, to rest and recover from the harrowing losses of the previous Friday.

It's been almost a week. And the storms are getting worse.

You know the locked door on the first floor? The one that goes into the center of the tower, right across from the great entry hall doors?

Today, there's a heavy iron key sticking out of the lock. With a familiar crest on the head.

The key is sticky with wet yellow paint, and wetter blood.]

[A yellow light comes on within the mechanism of the typewriter.

Closer examination reveals that it's the fourth light in a row of 6.]

Six green LEDs light up inside the typewriter.

From the other wall of the room, there's a heavy, metallic click, and then the wall slides back, revealing a staircase downward.

Autopsy room cleared, gentlemen. One more area to go.]

The Dungeon

[After solving Heisenberg's secret door puzzle, the wall in the autopsy room opens up to a secret staircase heading downward.

[ It's kind of funny he actually did get that right.

[ ... yeah okay, he will let his ego be stroked a teensy bit before they proceed. Which, you know is a little indulgent, but hey. It will be very brief and it's because it's Nuadha, so. ]

[ Okay, let's head forward! Felix's hand is tightly gripping the hilt of his blade as well, though. ]

Patchouli floats out of Heisenberg's workshop with two ancient-looking books floating next to her, hurriedly copying something from Heisenberg's notebook down into her grimoire. ]

[Nuadha's mostly on his guard, but not so much that he can't be curious about that.]

I take it your search was productive?

It's unlikely the Alchemist is behind this door...

[What with the typewriter being the key, so unless the door closes behind them after some time, he can't be in here. Well, better keep trucking on]

[As they begin to descend the stairs, red electric safety lights cast the stone staircase in an ominous red glow.

The stairs go down about thirty feet deeper underground. The air changes slightly, gets a cold, damp, almost metallic air to it. You're under the lake now, if you had to guess.

At the bottom of the staircase is a steel door. With yellow paint on the handle.]

[ ...Well then.

There's only one thing to do. Felix will go ahead of trying to open the door to see what kind of sight will lie before them. ]

Perhaps not. We'll double back after this to be certain.

[It wouldn't have been a bad place to hide if the door did close.

Although thinking that now Nuadha is having a bad feeling about getting back out, so, definitely walking faster.]

Yes....the alchemical notes in these tomes are fascinating. I want to be able to read them later, when I have more time.

[ Patchouli flicks a ball of light from her fingertip, and it hovers around them. Just to give some extra light in this dank-ass basement. ]

[It's... well, castle dungeons.

There are two doors on each wall, and one door on the back wall.

All of the doors are closed, with heavy wooden doors and tiny barred windows.]

Let's get this over with.

[ Felix will take the door to the back wall. Does it open when he tries grab the door knob/or door handle and tug? ]

I'll go for the left.

[This door is closed, let's see how this goes. Is there a typewriter to open it? okay no haha

[Fine, Nuadha will do teamwork and take the first door on the right. Listening a little and craning through the window for a little forewarning before he tries to open.]

[Does he look through the window or just go right for the handle?]

[Peeking through the window, there's certainly... something black and vaguely body shaped within. Several, in fact.]
