[Yesterday was, to say the least, an eventful time. 21 people waking up in an alarming kidnapping situation, tempers got heated, salt was thrown, the usual flavor of shenanigans.

Your Alchemist made his appearance, got into several arguments, scruffed a teen and nailed a god. All in all, a productive time! It doesn’t seem like he’ll be making any more public appearances this week but he did say to give him a call.

If you don't want to converse with the Alchemist, there's a whole tower to explore! Check out all the dusty nooks and crannies, read some smutty literature, try to build a death ray, take a cozy bath- the Montessori method of learning. Curiously, starting on Monday there are mysterious leaflet catalogs scattered in several rooms of the tower. There’s no shop name on it, but there are pictures of a variety of fun and fanciful items, just a preview of the many rare and/or exotic goods you could get from one of the shop's Grand Opening Sale blind boxes. There is also a large wooden chest that has appeared in the Entrance Hall right next to the grand entrance doors, despite the fact that they remain locked. A locked mailbox hangs on the wall above the box, along with several envelopes. The mailbox says "CATALOG ORDERS", and there is a handwritten note that adds: "Write your name on the envelope as well as your order. INCLUDE PAYMENT, or it's no deal. <3"

In related news, many of you will also be receiving mysterious gold coins on top of your trunk – maybe this is the payment referenced?

[hmm???] Well, the Earth Kingdom has one unified ruler--the Earth King or Queen--who rules from the capitol city of Ba Sing Se, and then the rest of the Kingdom is broken up into city-states. Or was, before the riots.

We must be from different timelines. The Earth I am familiar with is made up of several countries all ruled by their own governments.

Timelines? [hmmm???] The two-headed dogperson said that sometimes they fall though other worlds...do you mean like that?

Is Asgard one of the countries in your Earth Kingdom?

No, Asgard is an entirely different world all together. Earth is under Asgard's protection, actually.

Oh! So is the Earth Kingdom part of Asgard then? Or is it an alliance?

Earth is one of the worlds connected by the Bifrost that Asgard conquered at one point.

Yes, that's been the reaction from most of the people I've said it to here. [He doesn't make a move to explain further.]

[Wu blows out a huff at that, resting a hand on his hip] So I already told you about the Earth Kingdom. Do the Fire Nation, the Northern and Southern Water Tribes, or the Air Nomads mean anything to you?

Not at all. [Loki frowns.] The Earth I'm familiar with is divided in to multiple countries. Germany, England, and America are the ones I have been to most recently.

[What are those names even] Do those countries have any kind of bending? And if so, how do you tell?

[cuttingremark]

[He could be obtuse and say that everywhere had the ability to bend things, but he can tell from the way Wu says the word that it means more than folding a sheet of paper.]

I assume this 'bending' is some sort of ability. I am a master of magic myself, but I know the ability is quite rare on Earth.

It means you can control one of the four elements, maybe two if you specialize.

I know of mages who specialize in the elemental arts, but it is another expression of magic rather than a separate ability altogether. [He hums, thinking for a moment.]

Perhaps we are not from similar universes after all. The others I have met here from Earth did not speak of this 'bending' at all. What is your planet called?

Well, it's called Earth. But there's also the Earth Kingdom, as well as the other nations I mentioned. Then there's the Spirit World and the Material World.
