week 1
[Yesterday was, to say the least, an eventful time. 21 people waking up in an alarming kidnapping situation, tempers got heated, salt was thrown, the usual flavor of shenanigans.
Your Alchemist made his appearance, got into several arguments, scruffed a teen and nailed a god. All in all, a productive time! It doesn’t seem like he’ll be making any more public appearances this week but he did say to give him a call.
If you don't want to converse with the Alchemist, there's a whole tower to explore! Check out all the dusty nooks and crannies, read some smutty literature, try to build a death ray, take a cozy bath- the Montessori method of learning. Curiously, starting on Monday there are mysterious leaflet catalogs scattered in several rooms of the tower. There’s no shop name on it, but there are pictures of a variety of fun and fanciful items, just a preview of the many rare and/or exotic goods you could get from one of the shop's Grand Opening Sale blind boxes. There is also a large wooden chest that has appeared in the Entrance Hall right next to the grand entrance doors, despite the fact that they remain locked. A locked mailbox hangs on the wall above the box, along with several envelopes. The mailbox says "CATALOG ORDERS", and there is a handwritten note that adds: "Write your name on the envelope as well as your order. INCLUDE PAYMENT, or it's no deal. <3"
In related news, many of you will also be receiving mysterious gold coins on top of your trunk – maybe this is the payment referenced?

(( OOC: This will be the last mod post for this week! Feel free to start submitting catalog orders for any threads that aren't with the Alchemist. This is a peace week, so get all that CR while you can! ))

I don't wish Maps was here, I don't wish Maps was here, I don't wish Maps was here...
[ She wishes Maps was here.
Later, though, she settles into the library, finding the """fiction""" section and... setting up camp to read one of the adventure books. And... that's her done for most of the day, honestly, feel free to come bug her if you like! Very exciting toplevel, I know. ]

It is worth having a rudimentary map to make notes on, at the very least, even if it is not as good as a professional would make.

But eventually he seems to find a subject he can work with, and his note-taking, well, takes off. If anyone glances at said notes though they seem to be gibberish?
The rest of the day is spent wandering... or if we're being honest, snooping.
By evening you might find him in the kitchen or supply room reading the packaging on soaps and other cleaning products with an intense expression.
At no point all day is he seen eating, just drinking a carefully guarded cup of coffee, each cup brewed fresh.]

It feels kind of weird not hearing the cannons to tell the time...
[And after wandering around a bit, come noon she'll be back to the kitchen, digging around in the ice box until she finds it: a big frozen chunk of beef. Her eyes light up.
...But it's going to take a while to defrost in time for supper. So Mei will spend the entire afternoon in the kitchen. You'll probably run into her there, studying the map or the profiles on the transmitter, reading the weekly catalogue, reading an astronomy textbook from the library, singing, loading the stove with firewood, and occasionally unwrapping the beef, salting it, and covering it back up again.
When she finally manages to cook the whole thing, she takes it out zombie-like to the supper table in the Great Hall and sets it out.]
It's for everyone...
[Even if she seems to be taking half of it onto her own plate. Girl really likes her beef.]

Look. Stella just really doesn't want to be bothered by annoying people, not without her instigating it, so for most of the day Tuesday, she's invisible. If anyone calls her on her bullshit, or questions the possibility of ghosts, she'll probably show up, though.
By the end of the day, though, she's completely visible-- and can be found in the Great Hall with an orb of light above her, as she flicks through the pages of a book idlely. She's also toying with the Communicator, trying to figure out what all it can do-- right now, it's playing Wu's fall on a loop. Very impressive.]

Later on in the day, he can be found at Tinkerer's Haven, checking out all of the materials, specifically some of the metals. The gears in his head are definitely turning... He might make something soon.
In the evening, you can find him in the kitchen whipping up something for himself- and it smells absolutely heavenly. He's quite the cook! ]
