Week 2 Monday Night Pajama Party!!

[HELLO AND WELCOME TO THE PAJAMA PARTY! They’ve really gone all out here, because the tables have all been pushed up to the wall (thank you, Finn) to make room on the floor for pillows and blankets and some cushions, too. There’s also streamers and other decorations hung up for a party-type atmosphere, as well as nice quality baijuand plum wine chilled and set out along with glasses for consumption. Next to that, there’s a variety of hors d’oeuvres to be noshed on, along with whatever anyone else has brought. There’s several balls of light floating around, courtesy of Stella, to give the place a nice, cozy glow.

Feel free to make yourself comfortable, grab some hors d’oeuvres and something to drink, and settle in for some sleepover activities or just sitting around and mingling. If you’ve brought something for the party, you can add it to the list here, or if there’s a game or an activity you’d like to host, feel free to add it on to this top level and it’ll get added to the navigation! Oh yes, he'll be just fine. Exoflecting takes energy, but something like pajamas is fairly small, all things considered. He can exoflect things a great deal larger than that.

But I did make sure there would be plenty of food to help replenish his strength just in case.

Nuadha-sama and I have known each other since we were children. He may be strict, but he's very kind underneath, so please don't take anything harsh that he says to heart.

Yes, he certainly is. It may not mean much in a situation like this, but you have my word that he is someone you can trust.

I think you're both pretty amazing. You know, it sort of reminds me of some people I know. One's always being kind and wants to keep the people close to him safe, even if he does like to embarrass me. And his friend might look grumpy and hard to get along with, but he's secretly a good person who puts his whole soul into everything he does, even if it might hurt him. They're almost inseparable sometimes, even if Shunsou-san likes to complain about the things Ougai-san does.

I can't argue with that comparison, though I'm not sure I'd give myself quite that much credit. I may be a knight, but I've failed in my duty before. That's why I'm doing my best to make up for it now.

Oh... But everyone's made mistakes! I'm sure you're doing fine, and that no one blames you if you've messed up.

That's very sweet of you to say, Mei-san. Of course, it goes without saying that I'll protect you as well as long as we're here-- that much is a promise.

She looks off for a moment, then nods repeatedly.]

Don't worry! I'm going to do my best for everybody. I heard something weird right before the party, so maybe there's a ghost here already!

[... well, now he's looking slightly concerned because uh. Weird sounds in a tower that houses who-knows-what-else alongside them? Does not exactly bode well.]

Something weird? What do you mean by that?

I was looking with Loki-san in case there was anything besides us in here, and I heard a strange dripping. Not like water, something slower. And there weren't any leaks around anywhere to cause that sound. When I said I'd look for it again and told the sound not to worry, it stopped, and I heard paper moving for a second. I would've told everyone, but they might all think it was just another ghost story.

Ghost story or not, the fact that the sound seemed to respond to you would seem to indicate that there may in fact be something supernatural at work... usually strange dripping noises don't simply stop when spoken to.

Supernatural... Okay! I'll keep an eye out in case I see anything else, so we can get more information.
