Week 2 Monday Night Pajama Party!!

[HELLO AND WELCOME TO THE PAJAMA PARTY! They’ve really gone all out here, because the tables have all been pushed up to the wall (thank you, Finn) to make room on the floor for pillows and blankets and some cushions, too. There’s also streamers and other decorations hung up for a party-type atmosphere, as well as nice quality baijuand plum wine chilled and set out along with glasses for consumption. Next to that, there’s a variety of hors d’oeuvres to be noshed on, along with whatever anyone else has brought. There’s several balls of light floating around, courtesy of Stella, to give the place a nice, cozy glow.

Feel free to make yourself comfortable, grab some hors d’oeuvres and something to drink, and settle in for some sleepover activities or just sitting around and mingling. If you’ve brought something for the party, you can add it to the list here, or if there’s a game or an activity you’d like to host, feel free to add it on to this top level and it’ll get added to the navigation! Yeah, I think I do. I'm not going to go ahead drinking a full bottle of wine so that I'm...addled.

Besides, I've already had some of that, which is good enough for me.

By that, I mean that it was awful and I never want any more of it again.

[ Well it wasn't actually awful. But this is what he'd normally have said. He has no idea why he said what he had like that without thinking (it's definitely the wine.) ]

It's the finest wine Alfheim has to offer. [He almost sounds offended, but then he gives Felix a careful look.] How much did you have?

I don't remember. Like it matters.

[ This is Felix essentially putting on his clown wig right now because there is no slurring but it's probably easy to tell something is up considering his previous comment. ]

Not like it was all that much. I feel fine.

It very much matters. That wine is made to get gods drunk. A single glass would have the same effects as a couple bottles on a normal human. [He doesn't seem worried at all. Actually he seems kind of entertained.]

[ A longer pause. ]

I'm not drunk.

[ He sounds completely offended and confused at the same time. Yeah, the wine has definitely gotten to him. Will he admit to it? No. ]

I believe you are. [His voice takes on a sing-song quality.] No sense denying it. Embrace the intoxication, loosen up, have some fun!

[ His expression scrunches up into something vaguely pouty. ]

How would I even have fun?

I don't know, dance? Play a game? Make out with someone? [You know, what normal people do at parties.]

...this isn't the White Heron Cup all over again. Also, if it's a game, it should be at least challenging.

[ He doesn't exactly mean to say that, but it comes out anyway. ]

But, do I look like the type of man to just...just make out with anyone I just met?

[Loki shrugs.] Assumptions like that are dangerous so I tend to avoid them.

[ There's a small pause. ]

If you ever think about challenging me to a worthy game or fight, I'll meet you head on.

[ He says that even if his feet feel unsteady. ]

What kind of games do you enjoy from home? [Most Asgardian party 'games' were really just about drinking more booze, so likely nothing that would appeal to Felix right now.]

... I don't usually play games.

But...

[ His brows are furrowed together, trying to think. He imagines some archers, but beyond that, men and women talented with throwing knives as entertainment. When he speaks again, his words are closer to a murmur, a bit drowsy. ]

Target practice would work with something sharp. Or something like first one to hit another wins.

I have a nice set of throwing knives. [He has a few, but that's not important right now.] I'm sure we could cobble some sort of target together. But are you certain something sharp is a good idea right now?

[ He'll just begin to wobbly begin to sit down, though he'll huff, and add: ]

I doubt it would be much of a fair competition at the moment anyways.

I'd suggest a drinking game, but it appears you have a bit of a head start on me.
