[On Sunday morning, there is a small gift waiting for the early risers in the tower: a dull lead key (don't lick it), dangling from a length of twine tied to the wooden beam across the ceiling at the cross section of the four dorms. Upon further inspection it has a particular symbol on the back half and a note that reads "Good job. Here's your reward". The note is signed Lord H. The key goes to sixth floor, where there is the same symbol etched above the keyhole on the lock.
The new floor is even more grand than the previous ballroom, a full theatre for their enjoyment. But it doesn't take away the burning sting of certain people who would have loved to see it.]

It has. Does it mean I'm going to suck up to him? Never.
That involves actually trusting him to be able to do much of anything, and truly helping us. I won't forget what he's done to us so far, and that revolting scheme he's pulled with Stella. I could never trust scum who has personally had a hand in our suffering.

As well as the comment Heisenberg delivered to Calamity at the end. But, really, how was he so sure that wasn't a display of some sort either? ]
In case you haven't noticed, I can see just fine! I saw what he made for her and thought it was some sort of sick taunt. That she'd be eliminated even if she had successfully climbed them.
We all know this wretched game isn't fair! So, why the hell else would I think differently?! That what he meant to do was offer any actual assistance?!
[ Felix bristles about his ego and morality being brought to the forefront. ]
Oh please. Relying on him to like any of us still involves giving some form of trust to him!
I'm not going to stop you or anyone else from trying to get in his good graces. But if you expect me to do the same and you have no interest in exercising any single bit of caution in doing any of that, then you're a bigger fool than I imagined!

[ On the other hand, Felix can't help but be cynical and distrustful. Not too long ago he was a part of a war where people stabbed each other in the back.
So many who were loyal to the Kingdom turned sides in a blink of an eye. The people suffered. Dimitri almost died and suffered. Even if this isn't just cleanly about trust, he can't help but worry. That somehow either of them trying to be friendly would get hurt. Maybe he's being paranoid.
But whatever the case, he's handling this particularly badly. ]
Don't patronize me. I already understand that some battles are won by actions taken behind the scenes. I've been through a war. I know that well enough.

The fact he goes immediately quiet instead of stomping off or yelling still is probably a good sign at least, because those are things he can absolutely do. Then he looks down, off to the side.
Another moment passes and he finally lets out a sigh. ]
