[On Sunday morning, there is a small gift waiting for the early risers in the tower: a dull lead key (don't lick it), dangling from a length of twine tied to the wooden beam across the ceiling at the cross section of the four dorms. Upon further inspection it has a particular symbol on the back half and a note that reads "Good job. Here's your reward". The note is signed Lord H. The key goes to sixth floor, where there is the same symbol etched above the keyhole on the lock.

The new floor is even more grand than the previous ballroom, a full theatre for their enjoyment. But it doesn't take away the burning sting of certain people who would have loved to see it.]

I see... it's scary, trying to make friends with people you think are always against you. But I think she must be able to do it. It'd be nice, too.

Yeah, it would be. They're sisters, you know, they should have each others' backs.

It was nice of you to show her that, even if she didn't seem happy. I'm sure she must appreciate it. I mean, even though I was scared of trying to connect with my classmates again, I think I'd be happy to now.

...I really don't. It always just makes everybody upset, and it doesn't even fix anything.

I don't know, Bruno-san. I know it's been really hard for you, but... that's how I felt about mine, too.

Really? But yours is useful. You've done so much with just the ghosts here, and there must be way more out in...the real world.

I didn't think it was useful until I went to the past and there were people who needed my help. Who asked for it, because they knew what a Tamayori was and didn't think I was just some scary weirdo. I think I might be able to do well with it now, even if I did go back to the present, but I didn't think so before. I probably would've wanted something like yours instead, to see if there was any hope of things getting better instead of always just assuming they wouldn't.

That's not what it is. You can only have hope if you don't know what's gonna happen - if you still think it might be something good. I'm the death of hope.

Even if what happens in the end isn't as bad as it seemed?

Eh, I think it usually is.

I really think it could be okay! Even if something goes wrong.

The last time I had a good vision, it was for one of my nieces. Then I got cocky and gave my other niece one, and told her that she'd never find love because the man she fell in love with would marry someone else. She was nine.

Oh... But does that really mean she'd never find love? Even if you get rejected, that doesn't mean you'll be alone forever, right? All you see is the one image, not the entire future past it!

Sure, I guess, but she was upset. What was I gonna do, keep the vision going? It might've just gotten worse.

But that's what I'm saying! It's possible to see or even make something better out of even a bad eventuality, right? I mean, it would make sense!

...maybe. But...well, I can't keep a vision going forever. And the more bad futures you dump on someone at worse, the worse their reaction's gonna be. I have people getting mad enough at me for things like "you're gonna go bald in a few years".

That's okay. I guess I can't really help with that, but I just think your ability isn't so bad. You still don't have to use it if it scares you or anything.

I never...really got out of doing it back home. Not until I left. It's been...really nice how no one here makes me.
