week 6
[On Sunday morning, there is a small gift waiting for the early risers in the tower: a dull lead key (don't lick it), dangling from a length of twine tied to the wooden beam across the ceiling at the cross section of the four dorms. Upon further inspection it has a particular symbol on the back half and a note that reads "Good job. Here's your reward". The note is signed Lord H. The key goes to sixth floor, where there is the same symbol etched above the keyhole on the lock.
The new floor is even more grand than the previous ballroom, a full theatre for their enjoyment. But it doesn't take away the burning sting of certain people who would have loved to see it.]

Wait.]
Bruno got chased by a bird? [He gently takes her arm and starts to lead her to the dorms.]

His ways are mysterious. Would you like for me to carry you on my back? I believe those candies are beginning to take effect.

[She ponders this and pauses to stare up the staircase for a second or two.]
Are you sure? Okay, I guess so.

I don't know how I get myself into these things. I feel fine. Just kind of cloudy. Is that a good word?

[She holds on, craning to look out the windows every time they pass one. She's probably also about to drop the bag of offending candy.]
How'd you know they did anything?

I found Bruno after he consumed the first few that came out of those boxes. Also the packaging denotes their relaxing properties.
Would you like to look out the window for a moment? [He stops next to one of the arrow slits so she can look for longer than a second or two.]

[She stares out it for a bit, forgetting what's going on.]
I wonder what's out there? Probably nobody knows where this island is.

[He looks out as well.]
Being here would be rather relaxing if it weren't for the circumstances.

I would love to believe so.

[Long pause, as she forgets what she was talking about and gets distracted by a bug.]
And we gave it back.

Let me know if you start to get dizzy, okay?
