[On Sunday morning, there is a small gift waiting for the early risers in the tower: a dull lead key (don't lick it), dangling from a length of twine tied to the wooden beam across the ceiling at the cross section of the four dorms. Upon further inspection it has a particular symbol on the back half and a note that reads "Good job. Here's your reward". The note is signed Lord H. The key goes to sixth floor, where there is the same symbol etched above the keyhole on the lock.

The new floor is even more grand than the previous ballroom, a full theatre for their enjoyment. But it doesn't take away the burning sting of certain people who would have loved to see it.]

[So about that boiler room-

He's able to find the tunnel easily enough based on Olive's map- either via the storage room trap door or the hatch behind the tower. Once inside he'll be able to hear the rumble of the boiler and feel the warmth in the damp tunnel but there's no visible door that leads to a boiler room.

Instead there's a warm stone wall behind the ladder that leads down from the storage room.]

[he places his hands on the wall, trying to sense for any magical barriers like those that keep them out of locked floors.]

[There doesn't seem to be any magic barriers for once! Just good old fashioned rock.]

Then perhaps-

[He's on the same "level" as the room, so he attempts to Warp]

[He Warps past the wall and it is heckin' pitch black in here. It's also hotter than it was in the tunnel and, very near him, he can hear a low mechanical rumble not muffled by stone.]

[Man, making his staff was the smartest thing he's done here. He lights it up to try and see wtf he's doing, tho eerie green glow is not helping the spook factor. He likes the aesthetic regardless]

[Gotta respect the spooky aesthetics.

The eerie glow illuminates the room in a sickly green glow, showing a very plain room surrounded by the same stone walls as the rest of the tower. In one corner is a massive metal boiler, big enough to theoretically heat an entire tower, and a heavy metal door opposite the boiler.]

[he eyes the boiler, pondering if destroying it would do anything worthwhile. He decides, no, unless Karl and the Patron could be discouraged by cold showers it would cause more harm than good. So instead let's check that door.]

[It's locked.]

[pegasinister]

[Second verse same as the first- any magical pings on this one?]

[arsholes]

[Nope, no magic pings here.]

[pegasinister]

[Then let's try another Warp]

[He starts to warp through the door, and he could well assume that he succeeded, only to end up in another stone corridor. After all, the tower has many.

But...

It's the same area he started in.]

Hmmm...

[he'll try to make his way back over to the door then]

[Door is still there and still locked.]

[pegasinister]

[is there a visable lock]

[arsholes]

[There is, just a simple knob and keyhole without any particular symbol on it.]

[He plucks his collar pin free as well as the thin metal of his cloak clasp, and kneels down to start trying to get in the old fashioned way- lockpicking]

[arsholes]

[It's a simple lock and therefore not very hard to pick- click goes the lock.]

[In we go, let's see if it loops again]

[The room beyond the door is less dark, with just as much stone as the rest of the tower. It's a small room, about 12 feet by 12 feet, but pretty big for its primary use. From the door, Hubert can see a folding partition of dark iron with a shirt and pants slung over the top of it, a heavy cloud of steam clinging to the ceiling, and a comically large porcelain claw foot tub.]

[And Karl Heisenberg is sitting in the bathtub. His hair, darker when it's wet, looks almost gunmetal grey, while the thick carpet of chest hair is black and plastered to his chest. There's a plethora of old scars littered across his naked upper body, to match the scars scattered across his face.

He has a yellow bath sponge, soaped with a lather that smells like sea spray, bergamot, and apples, with a finish of sandalwood and vetiver, and is scrubbing his muscular upper arms, humming to himself.]

Russian roulette is not the same without a gun,
and baby, when it's love, if it's not rough it isn't fun--

[As he turns to wash the shoulder closer to Hubert, he spots him and jumps, splashing water high up the edges of the truly, big enough to swim in tub, a few droplets splashing onto the floor.]

How the fuck did you get in here?!

I really thought your personal quarters would be SLIGHTLY better defended, Heisenberg.

I would have thought there being no fuckin' door would be a pretty big turn off for most people.

[After the initial jump, he relaxes again, pretty confident that he has the upper hand despite (or perhaps because of) his nudity.]

Are you gonna just stand there staring? You wanna get my back?

[He blushes and huffs in annoyance. If he had managed to sneak in without Karl seeing him he might have tried something. His metal powers are too strong to battle face to face but maybe a spell to the back of the head would have been enough?

But even naked he knows Heisenberg could kick his ass.

Still, this is an opportunity, and knowing Loki was here earlier eases his mind. So he... actually walks in. No back washing though, instead he just looks around curiously, looking everywhere but at the so-called Alchemist.]

I told you I was going to discover this place's secrets. Though I'll admit this wasn't what I had in mind.
