[One week down and (if the Alchemist's promise is to be believed) just three more to go. In the past week royalty has been bullied, explicitly non-Satanic chairs were ordered and you began the pact-bonding process with your new proprietor of mercantile wares, ✨Garfield the Deals Warlock✨.

All in all, a surprisingly good week despite the kidnapping and looming threat of death. We'll see how long that lasts.

[There's something kind of pleasing about hearing someone call his Persona 'interesting'.]

It does its job. I don't know anything about magic in the first place, so as long as my powers work properly I should be fine.

[He'd be far more concerned if this was a murdergame with nerfing!]

[ His Persona looks like a cat, so Felix is admittedly also impartial to it (listen). ]

Can you do that again? Make Helios appear with the fire and everything?

[Upon Felix's question, indeed, behind Katsuya his Persona appears again, levitating up until it was above his head, looking at Felix with the impassive, indifferent staring of, well, a cat]

It can harness a couple other elements, but fire is the specialty. Magical fire does nothing to me.

[Fire immunity, hell yeah. Water weakness, not so hell yeah]

[ But can you pet it. ]

Oh, huh. That sounds reasonable.

[ It's so cool. A spirit cat that can fight with MAGIC.

...It's probably good no one can read his thoughts right about now. ]

How do you end up being able to call Helios out like that? I mean, unless you were born with the power or something.

[My authorial fiat says it can be pet, I refuse to believe it can't. I make the rules here. Katsuya extends a hand up, Helios entangling its claws around his hand in what's probably a steadfast gesture]

A month ago when I and other two were confronted with a deadly and supernatural situation, Helios came to my rescue. We all gained Personas and since then we have been using them to fight.

[He's...pretty sure it's because in high school he played a silly game about channeling Personas, but that was like nine years ago and it's chilling to think that, if he hadn't, he probably would be dead right now]

[ Felix just watches this happen.

That is pretty neat. Though he would not ask to necessarily go through a rough patch to get one, he wouldn't object to having one like that. Because, you know, cat. ]

It sounds like it was a rough time, but ultimately good Helios came along. Obviously.

What is it that you normally fight, anyway? I don't think I can begin to guess, what with you mentioning being in a deadly supernatural situation. Before your Persona came in.

[Now that's a question to answer! To answer in a few words...]

Demons. Not like Jasper, though -- they seem to be mythological creatures from many corners of the world. They began invading my city, brought forth by the personification of the dark side of humanity. We were about to fight it when I found myself brought here.

[Stakes are high and yet Katsuya is here. He's not panicking because the Alchemist promised to send them to the momeny they had been taken from -- he doesn't trust the Alchemist even an iota but what option does he have but to believe this?

[ ...Well, he sure didn't see that one coming. There's a moment of pause on his end and he glances off to the side. ]

We'll get back in time.

[ Felix doesn't necessarily consider himself an optimist, but does saying the opposite help anyone? He feels far too petty to try striking a balance, and really, is that even possible? It feels like it is either you choose to look at the best option or the worst. Until they manage to break free, that is. ]

I'm not just saying that, either. Even if I'm not about to harp on about the power of friendship or whatever kind of other nonsense.

I hate to think we're relying on the Alchemist to return. He said he'd send us back, but I find it hard to believe he wouldn't spitefully go back on his word if this all fails.

[You can't expect not even a little bit of good faith on someone who kidnapped a bunch of people to tell them to kill each other! Truthfully, despite his job Katsuya is surprisingly naive about some things, but he's not so naive he'd expect the Alchemist to fulfill his promise like that]

Hmph. Who says we're relying on him?

[ Felix folds his arms at that. ]

I don't trust the man as far as I can throw him, and right now as nobody can get close to him in order to try, that should say enough.

He hasn't exactly signed a iron-clad deal with us, after all.

If we want to rid ourselves of this place, we must kill him as soon as possible and find our own exit. When we do, we'll arrive back in time. But, it isn't as if I figure it won't be a messy affair either.

[ Felix has no illusions it'll be difficult, but he'll try to aim for the best-case scenario even so. He doesn't appear the type to be overtly optimistic because he necessarily isn't, but he'll be more vocal of such things because he does believe in their victory, and for the sake of morale. ]

[Why do so many people here go straight into the murdering the mastermind proposal, Katsuya has to wonder. Why has nobody heard about keeping the perp alive]

Perhaps he'd be letting his guard down more and showing himself in front of everyone if he hadn't been attacked multiple times when he appeared the first day -- not that I begrudge anyone for doing so.

[But as he sees it they're lucky it ended without major consequences]

[ Because murder and bloodshed will solve all the problems (no) ]

Hmph. He'll do it again, eventually.

The man is an absolute fool who thinks he is all that, and in the end all men like him are all the same. So, it's only a matter of time.

[ Maybe he should've brought knives at that time with him to at least try throwing them at the guy while he had his attention focused on Finn and Loki. But no telling how that would've ended up either. ]
