[One week down and (if the Alchemist's promise is to be believed) just three more to go. In the past week royalty has been bullied, explicitly non-Satanic chairs were ordered and you began the pact-bonding process with your new proprietor of mercantile wares, ✨Garfield the Deals Warlock✨.

All in all, a surprisingly good week despite the kidnapping and looming threat of death. We'll see how long that lasts.

[Much like Monday, there are packages waiting for several people when people begin wandering to the entrance hall! Today's special orders are specifically for Bruno, Azul, Olive and Wu.]

[Hey Abjuration Dormmates, hope you're getting used to Wu's really nice feather bed in the middle of the dorm. Also surprise, he's not the only one in that bed anymore. In addition to Wu's head of brown hair, there's also a halo of blonde spread over one of the pillows. Say good morning to your new dormmate?

Once Wu's up and notices the special delivery in the hall, he is immediately going to drop whatever he's doing and retrieve that special delivery. He might be spotted in the halls, looking for Katsuya with a small...is that a pet carrier? As well as a calico-colored duffle bag?? Wu, what are you up to...

Once that delivery is delivered, Wu's going to get back to the grove of figuring out what to do for the day. Turns out that thing is...taking pictures with the compact. So if you stand still for more than two seconds, or even if you don't you might be getting your picture taken. Or maybe you're catching him mid-selfie--either of those are likely options.

Eventually, Wu will tire of that, and head to the library, going back to reading his favorite book, Leadership for Dummies and taking notes. Sometimes he'll pause and stare off into the middle distance, thinking. There's also a sword just...leaning next to the table he's sitting at?? What is that doing there.

Near the later end of the afternoon towards evening, he's going to close that book and set aside his notes, leaving them both there, and push up from the table and go and seek out Hubert.]

[Stella lets him go have fun with his deliveries in the morning-- she has no desire whatsoever to be involved in whatever he's doing to poor Katsuya. Eventually, though, she heads to track him down-- to make sure he's not in any trouble, or causing any trouble.

All thoughts of that stop when she sees the sword next to him. She freezes completely, her heart catching in her throat-- she even looks around, frantically, for its owner. When she's sure that he's not thank goodness because shes not sure she can handle him and wu meeting right now, she swiftly approaches him, her voices harshness cut with a tiny bit of panic.]

[Yeah, she just noticed Stella, and flails and stumbles back into one of the bunk beds, wiping out on the floor.]

There's parchment spread all over the table covered in mathematical and magical formulas as well. He looks pretty focused but when he sees Wu he looks... amused? He knows, either through his own snooping or the tower gossip, that SOMEONE wasn't in her assigned dorm this morning]

[Wu's gonna be catching Zenos in the Great Hall. It's very candid, on account of how he's.... asleep. He only slowly opens his eyes upon hearing the noise of the transmitter capturing his image.

Yes, he was just sleeping while sitting up, what of it.]

[Jasper hasn't received any special orders, though he did get one of those super special blind boxes waiting for him in the entrance hall! ...despite his better judgment!

He's going to hold it up to his head and shake it a bit to try and hear if there are... any... little rat-sounding sounds in there. Whenever he hears nothing, he goes ahead and opens the box to find... well. Initially, it's just some junk, but once he sees The Orb he pauses.

...and just kind of laughs in perhaps a not particularly heroic way.

Well, because of that, he's feeling pretty good for the rest of the day; he looks positively cheerful as he heads into the storage room to get some goshdarned celebratory candy! And maybe some other snacks, he's definitely giving the little packages an analytical look. He is not humming, necessarily, but he just might. Even though he doesn't have any immediate plans for the thing, he's still feeling good... for a while, anyway.

A little later in the evening, he's hanging out in the library, seriously pondering something! Not his orb, surprisingly, but a pendant. If he catches anyone staring he's going to pocket it in a hurry, but he might not notice right away...]

[ Oh, he's peeking! Azul is standing at a nearby shelf, and he can't help but to notice when something shiny is in his presence. He's pretending to make himself busy by scanning the titles for something to read. ]

[ Special delivery day! Olive is quick to grab her order (and blind boxes) from the entrance hall and scurry back to the dorms with them. The rest of the day? Is spent putting them to good use, of course.

First and foremost, she spends a solid chunk of the day in the kitchen with... oh hey, looks like she got a cookbook! She spends a lot of time looking around the kitchen for ingredients, then using them to make... oh wow, she's got a real big pot of soup on. ]

I really hope this works...

[ Later on, she spends a good chunk of the day in the library, but she's not reading the whole time! She's making like any self-respecting early-2010s teen and hanging out listening to music on her literal actual iPod Touch! That she seems to have obtained!

... This toplevel, however, doesn't end there like usual. Much later on, when most people are going to sleep (but not too late, on account of. You Know ;) ), Olive slips quietly into the music room wearing... the cheap cape and crown she got from the blind boxes, of all things? Anyone who pops in will be treated not to, like, a murder, but instead to: ]

[ Azul absolutely makes a beeline for the Entrance Hall early morning on Thursday. Among the packages, he finds his, immediately taking it out of the box with a smile. It seems to be a pen of sorts with a gem inlaid on the front. Wonder what that's all about! Still, after rolling it around in his hand and inspecting it, he looks pretty happy about it.

Later, you can find him in the Storage Room, eyeing up that mysterious locked gate and the door behind it while getting some supplies.

Outside of this, you can find him in the Library, per the norm, scanning some textbooks and the like! ]

[Nuadha's here to prowl through the snacks he doesn't actually want, but he can't ignore someone else sizing up his nemesis the door.]

Do you have some form of unlocking magic? I've exhausted my methods.

[ Perhaps understandably, nobody sees much of Bryn prior to Thursday. She spends pretty much all of Tuesday and Wednesday avoiding everybody, in what you could charitably call giving them space and less charitably call sulking. Your call on which one is most accurate.

Given that no one has come for her head by Thursday, though, it seems safe to venture out. If you're one of her roomies in the Evocation dorm, you might come across her as she's getting ready to head out. Once she realizes she's been spotting, she sort of fluffs up in a manner not unlike an angry Ghibli character. ]

... What?

[ Her tone is sulky and a little defensive but she doesn't seem to be about to deny that she did, in fact, fuck up. Bare minimum achieved!

Assuming she's left to her own devices, Bryn spends most of the day in the library. She might not be all that impressed with the selection of books they have, but it's better than nothing and reading means she has a great excuse to not be talking to anybody. She's doing her best to keep to herself in here, but if someone approaches to talk, she won't turn them away.

She's in the library for most of the day, but come evening when she's certain most people won't be around, Bryn makes for the training room with the envelope that set all this off in the first place. She finds some adhesive tack in the storage room and fixes the photo inside against the wall then roots around until she finds something she can throw at it. One of the weights should do. Except...

Even once she scoops up one of the biggest weights and hefts it back, she can't quite bring herself to follow through with the throw. She stays like that for an almost comically long time before, with an inarticulate noise of frustration, letting the weight smash back down to the floor and snatching the photo off the wall. Without any idea of what else she can do with herself, she ends up huddled in the corner, staring at the photo with an expression that's impossible to read. ]

[Stella was not in the Evocation dorm last night, or this morning. She breezes in mid-morning, right as Bryn's getting ready, still in her cute pink silk pajamas. She'd meant to do the same thing-- get ready herself, but this works too.

Somehow, the ridiculous pajamas don't lessen the severity of the look on her face.]

[they may share a dorm room, technically, but Red Velvet hasn't been there since the first few days. Instead he's set up a fort in the library, made of his trunk and books.

He's leaving Fort Paranoid Cookie to go on patrol rounds and he spots... the girl with the flower eye. He can't for the life of him remember all these humans' names.

He remembers her stunt on Tuesday and draws his knife. He keeps his distance from her, his back to the wall, and the knife pointed at her, as he makes his way to the door]

[Zenos might've caught her in the dorms, if he wasn't an absolute cryptid who fell asleep in the library more than he did in bed. So he misses her there. Instead, it's in the training room that he watches her drop that weight.

...And he's just gonna go ahead and approach because no fear.

[Bruno's got mail!

He takes the package back to Conjuration Dorm to open it up, pulling out the cloak. Honestly, he bought it on something of a whim - he was curious to see if it would really be like Camilo's powers or not. Putting it on, of course his eldest nephew is the one on his mind, so for a few minutes, this is who's standing in the dorm. He turns about, giving himself a once-over, before going to peer at his face in the mirror.]

Oh, that's weird. Is it this weird for him all the time?

[It's actually kinda weird, turning the tables like that. He's quick to abandon that shape. Still, the cloak's fun to play with! Imagine - having a gift that actually makes people smile! Bruno wanders the halls for a little while, still looking like himself, and greets people with:]

Hey! Look at this! [With a dramatic twirl of the cape, he transforms into Wu, then Olive, then the Alchemist.] This thing actually works!
