[One week down and (if the Alchemist's promise is to be believed) just three more to go. In the past week royalty has been bullied, explicitly non-Satanic chairs were ordered and you began the pact-bonding process with your new proprietor of mercantile wares, ✨Garfield the Deals Warlock✨.

All in all, a surprisingly good week despite the kidnapping and looming threat of death. We'll see how long that lasts.

[Bruno's never been a huge drinker - he was a lightweight even before - but it has literally been ten years since he had any alcohol. The booze stock is pretty well-monitored when there's so many kids in the house, and anyway you gotta keep your wits about you to not get caught!]

[In fairness, the only reason Bruno started talking to any of you was because we're all trapped in a castle together.]

Hey, if I had really high bars for everything, I'd never be happy.

I'd probably just miss them. Or trip over them, actually, that sounds like something I'd do.

...I think it's better to keep your expectations realistic. I've got a pretty good idea of what I can get my hands on or not, by now.
