[One week down and (if the Alchemist's promise is to be believed) just three more to go. In the past week royalty has been bullied, explicitly non-Satanic chairs were ordered and you began the pact-bonding process with your new proprietor of mercantile wares, ✨Garfield the Deals Warlock✨.

All in all, a surprisingly good week despite the kidnapping and looming threat of death. We'll see how long that lasts.

Oh, no, not me. My brother-in-law always did - I mean, he still does.

[Don't mean to talk about Agustin like he's dead!]

[ He nods his head over to the wall of sheet music. ]

[Bruno shrugs and wanders over.]

I don't know if I recognize most of these... [Looking over a Mozart piece.] I mean, I guess I know some of the names, but I don't know all that much about this kind of music.

That's fine- just pick one with a title that sticks out to you. Truth be told, I don't entirely know a good chunk of them either.

[ There is no Mozart or Beyoncé in Twisted Wonderland... well, as far as we know at the moment. ]

[Bruno, lifelong black sheep, is just well-read enough to recognize and choose something else over the Mozart piece.]

[ Azul gives it a once-over. ]

Perfect! I may ask you to flip the pages for me a bit, if that's alright. I can nod when we get to the end.

[ He smiles, setting the sheet music on the piano stand. He starts out slowly, this being his first time reading the music, but he gets the hang of it over time. ]

[Bruno nods. He'll keep a close eye on Azul as he plays, flipping the pages as required. The role of assistant is an easy and familiar one, for him; he was always happier helping Julieta or Pepa than he was using his own gift, being the center of attention like that.

There was a time when he'd do this exact thing for Agustin on occasion, in fact. He smiles, both at the music and the memory.]

[ A little ways in and Azul accidently presses some sour notes, wincing a bit. ]

...a little more practice. Sight reading is definitely a challenge sometimes.

[ He lets out a little chuckle, but continues to play! ]

[Not that Bruno's really put any effort into trying. Being a Madrigal often doesn't leave a ton of room for hobbies, and music certainly isn't something he could do in the walls.]

Ha, I suppose. Have you thought about picking up an instrument before?

[ I'm just saying, sometimes you gotta groove in the walls and blame Casita for it, it's fine. ]

[He chuckles nervously.]

Oh, no, not me. I don't know how I'd even get an instrument in the first place.

Well, you're here now, aren't you? I'm sure with the vast array of instruments at our disposal, they wouldn't mind if you took one home when we leave, on top of some of the library books.

[ If they have all this, not to mention the kitchen restocking daily, he's sure an instrument or two wouldn't be missed. ]

Oh...

[Bruno glances over at the instruments, visibly tempted.]

I-Iiii wouldn't be able to practice.

[ A brow raises. He sees the look on Bruno's face. ]

How come?

[predecir]

Well, it's pretty important that I keep quiet, where I'm living... [Inspiration strikes!] I mean, I don't want to bother the neighbors.

[The neighbors! The normal kind that everyone has!]

...I suppose so, but I digress.

[ What he does in his house is his business! Those must be pretty thin walls. ]

It still wouldn't hurt to bring one along, if you change your mind.

...maybe.

[Gosh, that's kind of exciting? Bruno looks over the instruments - the smaller ones, of course, you'd want it to be portable.]

If my niece gets her way, I guess I might be moving somewhere else soon anyway.

Ah, and then you'd be able to play to your hearts content, I assume. All the more reason to do so.

[ Azul loves music, so it's a nice thought to him. ]

It's never a bad time to start learning.
