[One week down and (if the Alchemist's promise is to be believed) just three more to go. In the past week royalty has been bullied, explicitly non-Satanic chairs were ordered and you began the pact-bonding process with your new proprietor of mercantile wares, ✨Garfield the Deals Warlock✨.

All in all, a surprisingly good week despite the kidnapping and looming threat of death. We'll see how long that lasts.

I have not confirmed it, but his tricks last week could be nothing but. Such speed just isn’t possible. I’ve seen time magic before and it looks very similar to what he did.

It's true. He says we're in a year way beyond most of what we have in this building, and some of the snack packets match up with it. And when I asked the year, he acted like he needed to count and think about it.

I think that's why he said we'd wait a month if it were all peaceful. The way I know it back home... [We're doing this in front of everyone, aren't we.] Well, I don't know very much. But Charlie-san said he needed the exact same conditions, and that includes things like moon phases.

Guess that makes sense. I dunno all the details, but when I saw Simon do it, it took, like, something from the time he was trying to open a path to. Doing it at all's gotta be real finicky-type specific stuff.
