[One week down and (if the Alchemist's promise is to be believed) just three more to go. In the past week royalty has been bullied, explicitly non-Satanic chairs were ordered and you began the pact-bonding process with your new proprietor of mercantile wares, ✨Garfield the Deals Warlock✨.

All in all, a surprisingly good week despite the kidnapping and looming threat of death. We'll see how long that lasts.

I suspect you might be right. This group has no shortage of skilled fighters-- if we were to turn on him, even he would likely have difficulty trying to fend all of us off.

I hold no illusions he will be a difficult foe to overcome. But that does not make him invincible. So long as we stay alive and make some effort to outmaneuver his machinations, we stand a realistic chance of securing an advantage.

If we hope to stand even a ghost of a chance against him, we must find some way to disable his magic. There is still much reconnaissance to be done to figure out the source of his power.
