[One week down and (if the Alchemist's promise is to be believed) just three more to go. In the past week royalty has been bullied, explicitly non-Satanic chairs were ordered and you began the pact-bonding process with your new proprietor of mercantile wares, ✨Garfield the Deals Warlock✨.

All in all, a surprisingly good week despite the kidnapping and looming threat of death. We'll see how long that lasts.

I was in a small band with some friends of mine when I was younger.

Oh, that sounds fun! So like a garage band? Or something more like orchestra?

More of a middle school jazz band of sorts, actually. Floyd took to the drums, and Jade preferred the contrabass. It was mostly a thing when we were younger, but I still take music classes now.

It sounds like fun. It's good to have something you really like doing, right? I mean, even if it's just a hobby you used to have.

We even got accepted into the same prestigious school together- practically inseparable.

It certainly is, but we have to trust that people will not fall to the Alchemist's whims.

You're right. It's too hard to believe otherwise, and at least most of us seem like we wouldn't do something bad.

Well, I'd still be on my guard, were I you. Ideally we all get out of here alive, but it doesn't hurt to stick around larger groups when you can.
