[One week down and (if the Alchemist's promise is to be believed) just three more to go. In the past week royalty has been bullied, explicitly non-Satanic chairs were ordered and you began the pact-bonding process with your new proprietor of mercantile wares, ✨Garfield the Deals Warlock✨.

All in all, a surprisingly good week despite the kidnapping and looming threat of death. We'll see how long that lasts.

Felix looks up at the hand she extends to him, and he pauses. For a moment, he imagines that he's at the training grounds at a different time, and someone else has extended their hand to him.

He huffs and roughly takes it but immediately lets go once he's at his feet. ]

Who taught you how to fight, anyway?

[ She grins and shakes her head. ]

No one, really! What I know is just what I've had to teach myself while travelling. I might be tougher than I look, but that's no reason not to learn how to defend myself. And besides that, it's quite fun to get your blood pumping, isn't it?

No wonder it is so brutish.

[ He'll point out because having a particularly engaging spar does not make his comments any less sharp. ]

I'll admit there's value in enjoying a good spar, and that it's to your benefit to learn how to actually fight at all in some way. Though, if you did learn some more technique, you'd be able to take down your opponents far quicker.

[ She folds her arms across her chest and gives him a cheeky, challenging sort of grin. ]

I'm not concerned about your technique and I didn't say I'd teach you.

...I'm just pointing out that it'd be beneficial to practice and establish some proper technique. If I happen to be giving you examples and such as you do, it'll be simply happenstance.

[ Which is like, offering to basically teaching her anyway. ]
