[One week down and (if the Alchemist's promise is to be believed) just three more to go. In the past week royalty has been bullied, explicitly non-Satanic chairs were ordered and you began the pact-bonding process with your new proprietor of mercantile wares, ✨Garfield the Deals Warlock✨.

All in all, a surprisingly good week despite the kidnapping and looming threat of death. We'll see how long that lasts.

Not... always? But that's the big city, I guess. We're safe at Gotham Academy, anyway.

I'm from the big city, and I don't think we have any vigilantes. I guess some of the ghosts and spirits were dangerous, but most of them were fine.

Well, ghosts and spirits would be part of what Batman fights, sometimes. But... there are some pretty dangerous people in Gotham, even if Batman isn't the best at handling them.

Wait, he's fighting ghosts too? I mean, there was a spiritual division in the police where I just was, but not, you know... well, in a time you'd be from...

Yes. There any many kingdoms in Earthbread. Hollyberry, Vanilla, Dark Cacao... The Cookie Kingdom was only recently established, but that plucky band of fools have accumulated quite the population. Outside of the kingdoms, there are many villages.

You're sort of making it sound less like a kingdom and more like just a group of people.

I guess there have been really young kings and emperors in history, but they usually have somebody older running things for them, right?
