week 2
[One week down and (if the Alchemist's promise is to be believed) just three more to go. In the past week royalty has been bullied, explicitly non-Satanic chairs were ordered and you began the pact-bonding process with your new proprietor of mercantile wares, ✨Garfield the Deals Warlock✨.
All in all, a surprisingly good week despite the kidnapping and looming threat of death. We'll see how long that lasts.
Sunday | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday
✨WEEKLY DEALS✨
1. The Cloak of Duplication - An ancient vampiric artifact, when worn it changes your appearance and voice to perfectly mimic another individual of your choosing. (You still have to sell the act, though.) [5 coins] SOLD
2. The Battle Axe of Hatred - A sick as hell electric guitar with an energy that feels like it is powered by the screaming of an ancient and evil lord- or at least once was. It has a signature on the body that simply says "Ron" and looks like it might have been written in blood. [5 coins]
3. The Jable - Put down your keys and stay a while. [2 coins]
✨LEFTOVER STOCK AT 50% MARK-UP✨
1. The Tingler - The whole hand tingles from wearing this ring, as if more blood rushes through the area. [2 coins]
2. Christine Jr. - A tiny red convertible. It's powered by pedals like a bicycle, with a steering wheel. For some reason it makes you think of old men in silly hats. [6 coins]
(( OOC: Don't forget to submit your orders for any threads that aren't with the Alchemist or Garfield! The Alchemist and Garfield both have "office hours" now so feel free to reach out to them. The compact functions have also been updated and don't forget activity check!
This week is where the real game begins, so get in your regains and CR while you can. >:3 ))

Early morning, you'll find her puttering around the kitchen and making herself some breakfast. Despite having the energy of a girl who survives on catering sprinkles and ring pops (hypothetically speaking anyway), she's doing reasonably well in reheating some meat and toasting some bread on the stove. Or at least she is until the stove proves persistent in sputtering out, despite all her efforts to keep it going. Eventually, she gives a huff and stoops down to look into the fire with a degree of caution that seems uncharacteristic for her. ]
Just what is the matter with this thing...?
[ Breakfast eventually consumed, Bryn then makes her way to the training room with the intent of working off a little energy. The equipment isn't exactly impressive, but without her own weapons she'll just have to make do with what's here. She tests out a few of the weights – she lifts them with basically zero visibly exertion which is kind of wild for a girl her size?? – before she settles to trying out the weapons. They're too light and blunt for her usual tussling but she can at least try and keep in practice with them. Should you happen to be around when she's getting into this nonsense, she'll perk up and wave you over. ]
Are you here to train? You wouldn't happen to be open for a bit of sparring, would you?
[
Once evening comes around and she's gotten the urge to tussle out of her system, Bryn retires to the library to poke around the fiction section and see if there's anything worth reading. All the inappropriate books get a joyfully scandalized "Goodness!" and a whole storm of giggling out of her, but eventually she'll settle herself down with a book that is probably not about to turn into smut and get to reading. ]

Having trouble with the stove?
[Everything alright, Bryn?]

[ It's sputtering and dying even as she speaks and she gives it a cautious prod with the fire poker. ]
See?

[Let's try to make this stove work for once!]

Oh, Bryn-san! You seem to be having fun.

[ She holds up a copy of some romance novel with a cover that looks like someone was told to draw the world's most generic smutty romance cover. ]
Our host must have interesting tastes to fill the library with these!

[ She's buzzing with energy, bouncing up and down on her heels as she speaks. ]
It wouldn't do to let myself get out of practice, after all.

[Does Bruno look like he can fight? He was just poking his head in - it's good to know what kind of stuff's available to you, even if you probably won't really use it.]

[Come at him, Bryn.]
You wanna go blades or bare-knuckle style, Princess?
no subject
Ugh. Do you really have to call me that?

[Just. The fact that it's being asked is probably the answer, right.]
I mean it's like part of your name, isn't it?

May as well. Pick your weapon and get to it.
[ Felix will pull out a training sword, and wait for her to pick her weapon. ]

[ She makes a show of selecting one of the spears and then points it at him, clearly bubbling with excitement over getting to tussle with someone. ]
Are you sure you're quite ready? I'm much stronger than you'd give me credit for!

He tilts his head at Bryn's invitation. Also? Kind of impressed by how she's moving those weights, too.]
I cannot say the prospect is too inviting... the weaponry here is too lackluster to make for a proper fight.
...All the same, I will not say no.

[ She's weighing one of the practice spears half-heartedly in her hands, looking thoroughly unimpressed. ]
They look as though they'd snap in two if you landed a hard blow. That's the last thing anyone should want from a weapon.
